Quiz on Plath

The Bell Jar centers around a young girl recalling her worries and interests.  The story takes place during the Cold War, around the time Julius and Ethel Rosenburg were executed.  Over the course of the story, the reader is brought into the mind of Esther Greenswood.  It is not revealed until the end of the story that Esther Greenswood has been in an insane asylum the whole time.
